A lawsuit has been filed, requesting the Michigan Supreme Court to invalidate the results from the Michigan election, claiming widespread voter fraud. Phil Kline, leader of the Amistad Project (the group that had filed the suit) said the fraud, “deprived the people of Michigan of a free and fair election, throwing he integrity of the entire process into question.”
The suit also asked that Michigan maintain, “all evidence of irregularities in the 2020 election and declare the election results invalid.”
MI Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson has maintained that there is no evidence of fraud or irregularities that would change results of the election.
Benson has been a focal point in Michigan since she had changed the absentee ballot process, which the Amistad Project claims was done specifically circumnavigate the Michigan Legislature. The project went on to state Benson sent, “unsolicited absentee ballot applications to every household in the state without verifying whether the intended recipients were still residing at the same location, whether they were eligible to vote in 2020, or even whether they were still alive.”
Michigan’s Board of Canvassers have voted to certify election results.
