Speaking to CBS’s Sunday morning broadcast of Face The Nation, Nashville Mayor John Cooper said there is no update (yet) regarding the identity of a possible person(s) of interest in the Christmas Day bombing. But, he did hint that an update could be coming very soon.

“Well, there’s no update yet, but I think everybody feels like there is a lot of momentum behind the investigation” Mayor Cooper said.

As for the target of the attack, the mayor said infrastructure was the focus, being sure to note that there is a AT&T facility in the vicinity of the bombing. “And to all of us locally, it feels like there has to be some connection with the AT&T facility and the site of the bombing. You know, and that- that’s just- that’s a bit of just local insight in because it’s got to have something to do with the infrastructure.”

While yet to be confirmed, there are reports of Federal Agents searching the home of Anthony Quinn Warner who is reported to be the person of interest. Photos taken from Google Maps show that Quinn’s residence did house an RV similar to the one suspected to have been used in the Nashville bombing.

Body remains at the site are being examined by law enforcement officials, which may or may not confirm the leading theory that the suspect was killed in the explosion.
