Joe Biden is speaking out about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. The presidential candidate in the not-yet-certified election said that public health experts urged him to recommend limiting gatherings on Thanksgiving to ten or less.
Biden told a press pool after a recent event in Wilmington, Delaware he “spent this morning, like many of you, trying to figure out what are we going to do for Thanksgiving. How are we going to do it. And we’ve narrowed down which family members and that they were tested, recently tested.”
“I would strongly urge, for sake of your children, your mother, your father, your sisters, your brothers, whoever you get together on Thanksgiving, think about this. There should be no group more than 10 people,” Biden added.
Encouraging others to wear a mask, Biden said “there’s nothing macho about not wearing a mask.”
Meanwhile, the fight rages on as to who won the election — with President Donald Trump continuing to claim he was the rightful victor of the tight race. The Trump campaign is currently embroiled in legal challenges in multiple states.
