Yesterday, Pennsylvania House Speaker (Bryan Cutler) and Majority Leader (Kerry Benninghoff) filed a brief with the Supreme Court against the State of Pennsylvania.
The brief describes PA’s election code as “unrecognizable from the laws that they enacted.” The brief alleges “outside actors have so markedly twisted and gerrymandered the election code.”
The brief does not address specific evidence of fraud. However, in alignment with Texas’ lawsuit, it echos the same concerns surrounding how election procedures were altered and enacted without (allegedly) being in accordance with the state’s laws. The brief confirms this by saying their intent (and request to the Supreme Court) is to “carefully consider the procedural issues and questions raised by the Plaintiff concerning the administration of the 2020 General Election in Pennsylvania.”
