When Melissa Carone first decided to work as a contractor for Dominion voting systems, she probably didn’t think that decision would put her front-and-center on the world stage; but that’s exactly what happened. Appearing before the Michigan House Oversight Committee on December 2nd, Ms. Carone testified that she witnessed at least 30,000 ballots being fraudulently counted multiple times.
Carone was contracted by Dominion to provide assistance at Detroit’s ballot-counting site on November 3-4. During that time she “observed numerous employees, city workers, running batches of ballots through the tabulators countless times, without discarding them first” Carone said. “Instead of discarding, they were just rescanning, rescanning, rescanning.”
When Carone brought up what she was seeing on the floor to her supervisor, her concerns were swiftly dismissed. That is when she sensed there was enabled-fraud taking place. When asked to describe what she thought her supervisor’s reaction meant Carone said, “He was in on it. They were cheating. It was very, very apparent. It was apparent that he was in on it. When he caught on to me knowing that he was in on it, he just wanted nothing to do with me.”
Of all the questions asked of Carone, there was one that seemed to stand out more than others. She was asked why others haven’t come forward to testify as to what they witnessed. Carone said, “I’ll tell you why. My life has been destroyed because of this. I’ve lost family, I’ve lost friends, I’ve been threatened, my kids have been threatened, I’ve had to move, I’ve had to change my phone number, I’ve had to get rid of social media—nobody wants to come forward. I can’t even get an actual job any more, because Democrats like to ruin your lives. That’s why.”
We applaud Ms. Carone’s bravery in coming forward. While we are saddened to hear her courage has brought her personal-pain, we are not surprised to hear this. This seems to be a reoccurring theme every time anyone dares challenge the purity of the left. It’s a shame. No one’s life should be “ruined.” The truth shouldn’t be withheld because of fear of retaliation. We hope others will see Carone’s bravery, have the courage to come forward, and fearlessly tell the world what they witnessed.
