In today’s hearing in Arizona, Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis spoke to Arizona Legislature, asking them to use their power to not certify fraudulent election votes. “You, the legislature of Arizona, have the plenary power to regulate the selection of electors in a presidential election,” Giuliani said.

Giuliani was using the appearance of widespread fraud in Arizona as a reason for the legislature to reclaim such power. Specifically, the former mayor of New York urged the legislature to consider the utilization of mail-in ballots by the democrats to commit such fraud. “If they certify it, they are certifying a false statement to the United States of America … in probably the most important matter we have.”

Arizona is part of key battleground states where the Trump campaign is forging ahead to request states not certify votes before the electoral college meets this month.
