In a video released Friday, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco called Gavin Newsom’s orders hypocritical and ridiculous. “These closures and stay-at-home orders are flat-out ridiculous,” Bianco stated. “The metrics used for closures are unbelievably faulty and are not representative of true numbers and are disastrous for Riverside County.” Bianco reiterated that his department would not be enforcing any of the governor’s stay-at-home orders. Riverside joins Los Angeles and Orange Counties in its refusing to enforce Newsom’s orders.
