Texas is gaining massive support and interest from conservative lawmakers and officials all around the country. It is being reported that support is also being heard within the US Congress. There are currently 106 House Republicans throwing their support behind Texas’ lawsuit again MI, GA, PA and WI.
The 106 lawmakers have asked to file a “friend-of-the-court brief, requesting the Supreme Court to reinforce the ability of state legislatures to choose appointed electors, in accordance with individual state laws.
“The clear authority of those state legislatures to determine the rules for appointing electors was usurped at various times by governors, secretaries of state, election officials, state courts, federal courts, and private parties.”
